What kind of paper is used to create Folded Words Cards?

Everything from Folded Words comes on premium paper with environmental certification. We use only premium CLASSIC CREST® writing, text, and cover stock from Neenah Paper, which is one of the brightest and whitest premium uncoated papers available. No worries about shelf life, either: our acid-free papers boast centuries-long archival properties. Can I log in using my Walgreens username and password?

Yes. Since Folded Words is part of the Walgreens family you can use your current Walgreens Photo sign-in information, and do not need to create a new account.

How do I update my account contact information?

Simply log into My Account. Once you’re signed in you’ll be taken to your account home page, where your contact information is saved. In the Account Info section, you’ll find your shipping, email, and credit card information. Find the appropriate link in each section that will allow you to edit your contact details. Does Folded Words have a physical retail store?

No. Folded Words products are only available for purchase online. We are happy to deliver to your preferred mailing address.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. To place a Folded Words order you’ll need to create an account. It’s easy. Start by providing us with an email address and a password. This will take very little of your time, and will allow you to track your order and shop without entering your address details. Then click the My Account link at the top of the page, which lets you then select Sign Up for a free account. After that point, you’ll be prompted with further, easy instructions.

Can I view all of my previous and current orders?

Yes. To see all orders that have been placed, click on "My Account". Log in via the top navigation, and you’ll see a list of your orders.

What is My Projects?

This is where, in one consolidated place, you can keep any design you find and like, as well as keep any of the customization work you have already completed. During the customization process you can save your changes by clicking on the Save button. Your latest versions will be in the My Projects section of our website, available to you anytime under My Account in the top navigation.

What are your shipping options and how much do they cost?

We offer several delivery options for stationery orders of 500 or fewer pieces that are shipped to a destination within the United States. If your order contains more than 500 items, the delivery cost will increase to accommodate the larger quantity. View the chart below to see delivery options.

Order processing time ranges from 2-3 days plus shipping time. Please note: During the peak holiday season shipping times may be longer due to high-volume sales.

How do you calculate delivery dates and shipping options?

After you place your order we typically print and ship it within four business days. The processing time will vary depending on the shipping method that you’ve chosen. We’ll provide actual delivery dates and options for your specific order at the checkout page during the ordering process. Once your order has been shipped, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. All orders taken online use the highest quality encryption and authentication methods, so all your sensitive data, including credit and debit card numbers, are absolutely secure.

How do I apply a promotion code to my order?

We periodically email special offers and promotional codes to our customers--and you’ll be the first to know simply by being on our customer email list. To apply a promotion code to your order, enter the code in the Promo Code box in checkout and click apply. A confirmation message will be displayed if the promotional code is valid and accepted. How are the card designs and messages printed?

Folded Words uses digital offset printing technology. Digital offset printing offers the same high quality and bright, long-lasting colors as traditional offset printing for graphics, text, and photographs, but allows us to deliver your final printed products even faster!

What is the minimum amount of cards that I have to purchase?

Most of our products have a minimum order quantity of 10 and are sold in increments of five. You may currently order up to 500 cards on our site. To place an order for more than 500 cards, please contact our customer service team via email or call (866) 264-2910 and we will be more than happy to assist you.

What are my envelope options?

The majority of our stationery comes with complimentary matching envelopes. Once you begin customizing your order, you can choose to add additional envelopes and/or any envelope options. Your design may include envelope options for a nominal fee, such as printing a monogram/motif or printing recipient and/or return addresses in the custom font and color of your choice. Importing addresses from a variety of address book sources is intuitive and easy, and you can conveniently save and re-use all your lists. Please visit the product page to determine if your product has additional envelope options. If you choose to upgrade your envelopes for the additional costs, the free unprinted envelopes will not be sent with your order.

Our envelope sizes include: 4B (5.125 x 3.625), A2 (5.75 x 4.375), *A7 (5.25 x 7.25) #10 (9.5 x 4.125), and 6 x 6 inch square.

How can I tell if there are different design and layout options for my card?

Different layout options are available for many of our stationery designs. On the product page, you'll find the More Layout Options link below the main product image. This indicates that there are more layout options available for the product you are considering. There are also design options below the main product thumbnails; these showcase alternative design options that are available from within the card-building process. If you have already begun customizing your order, simply expand the Layouts palette on the tool bar to the left of your card to see the different layouts available for the portion of the product you are viewing. Click on the layout you'd like to use. The main product image will then update to reflect your selection.

What photo formats do you support?

You can currently upload photos up to 10MB in size in the following formats: .jpg, .gif, .png, and .tiff.

What is Folded Words’s professional photographers, image authors and copyright policy?

Folded Words respects and upholds the legal rights of photographers and image authors. If you have a copyrighted image and wish to use it for customizing your item(s), please contact the photographer to request a signed copyright release for your own records.

If you have a studio image that does not indicate who created the work and you are not aware who created the work, you may be able to claim that the work you are requesting is for "fair use," and that you are unaware, or are unable to contact the photographer.

Copyright Indemnification: Purchaser agrees to hold harmless Folded Words/Walgreens for all costs, expenses, attorney’s fees, or judgments resulting from any claims or lawsuit made against Folded Words/Walgreens for any grounds claiming that the work produced violates any copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.
